Colorado Day 2

Day 2 started in Cripple Creek. We went to one of the casinos. We only went to use the bathroom, but of course we stopped and gambled a little bit. Eric won $17.50, I lost $4 and Darryl Lost everything he had $1.10. We went on a tour of the Mollie Kathleen gold mine. Mollie was the only woman to own a gold mine in Cripple Creek. From there we wondered around looking at a bunch of the old mining buildings, before heading into the city of Victor. We found a few good trucks to photograph. We ended the day with a drive through Phantom Canon, and a meal at Big Daddy’s. Eric and I had burgers. Darryl had Frito Pie, which he found particularly disgusting. We seen some nice color in the sky, and stopped for a minute just before the color left the sky. I am pretty tired tonight, so maybe a better post tomorrow. I’ll give my usual warning, and say that as I am doing these on my laptop. It’s hard to judge just how well they’ll look.
