One of the fun things to do in the Rocky Mountain National park is to photograph the elk. It wasn’t a real good day, sometimes the elk don’t want to do what you want them to, but here a couple photographs from this afternoon. I can’t really tell if the color is right on the laptop, but enjoy. I was surprised that the elk were bugling, and starting to round up their harems already. I thought that usually didn’t happen for a couple of weeks yet, but I guess I was wrong. I’ll give it another try tomorrow before we pack it, and head for home. I got a good tip from a great nature photographer who lives out here. His name is Gene Putney. Visit his website to check out his nature photography. Click Here.
